Born into a small keeper of the moon tribe, Zyku was quick to rise amongst her peers. With her keen sense of hearing and sharp skills with a bow, no one rivaled the young miqo's abilities. She loved the thrill of the hunt, it was her form of escapism from her responsibilities and her fire red emotions. Back at her home the took on many roles: head hunter, trainer, and local big sister. Because of the her duties her only moments away she got were hunting and traveling to nearby bars. These moments were her only glimpse into the wider world, which was both for better and worse.Gridanians often called keepers 'poachers' and the hot-headed miqo would usually instigate fights in her drunken ( and sober ) haze. The people who were kind though told her stories of adventure, ones that made her heart begin to yearn to travel. Her role in her tribe was far too important for her to up and leave though.

After the calamity, there was a big shift in most if not everyone’s lives and that included her own. most of her tribe became more and more uneasy with the Gridanians, not wanting to leave their small settlement. Needing to keep trading and trying to keep mild peace with them, Zyku also took up part of the job of traveling to Old Gridania to trade. Her life changed the night a nicely dressed Seeker of the Sun entered a bar, stopping a fight with a blade and magicked crystal medium in hand. The ever-eager Zyku asked him to teach her the dance of magic and sword -- well, told him to teach her as she wouldn't take no for an answer. He agreed as long as she promised to use her newfound skills to travel and help others.As a newly found red mage, Zyku set out on her own adventures as a mercenary. With her big sister instincts, she has made many friends including Alexandria. With her, she has made Prophet Lounge as a place for lost souls to find a home whether staff or patrons.

Zyku Salfa is as all Warriors of Light, kindhearted and has a soft spot for helping people in need. Strong and seemingly invincible, no one can stand in the way of this hero and those who stand against her will ultimately fall to her blade as many before her. Fearless and unable to turn away from a perilous situation, she is hero - a warrior to bring light to the darkness that is the world.… Or at least that’s what those who don’t know her may say. The real Zyku Salfa is a self-appointed selfish person, a woman who ran away from those in need to follow the siren song of travel and magic. Her big ego matches her own will to follow her conscience before anything else - so it’s a good thing it’s usually for the greater good. A tease and a sweet-talker, Zyku is a charming person who can easily make both allies and enemies. It’s not unheard of for her to crack a witty-joke or quip at the all the worst moments and she’s known to gossip about the things going on around her.Besides that, she is also everyone’s self-proclaimed big sister. Perhaps it comes from her home life - not that she will ever unpack that! She simply has a soft spot for those younger than her and even those older than her. Being an older sister is a state-of-mind after all. Quick to take people under her wing, she will buddy up with people effortlessly even if they don’t necessarily want it. There are many times were she can be seen as an easy-going, lazy cat laying in the sun and other times where she is basically bouncing off the walls trying to find the next thing to do… But to keep with the cat metaphors it’s less zoomies and more on the hunt.
